NJ High School Science Lab Renovation Using MRESC

The Hightstown High School located in East Windsor, NJ is home to grades 9-12 with an enrollment of about 1,475 students. The school first opened its doors for the 1965-66 school year. Since then, additions have been made in 1973, 1982 and 2005.

In both 2014 and 2015, two science labs at the high school underwent renovations. Both of these projects were successfully completed using the Middlesex Regional Educational Services Commission (MRESC)  contract to purchase the furniture for the renovation.

The MRESC affords an opportunity for schools to obtain competitive pricing, without compromising quality. All of Longo Labs science and chemistry lab furniture can be purchased off the MRESC.

The products used in the renovations were from Sheldon Laboratory Systems. The 2014 renovation consisted of three science labs using the following furnishings:

Axis Tables, Wood Laboratory Casework, Fume Hoods, Teacher’s Demonstration Desks

The 2015 renovation also included three science labs using the following products:

2 Student Lab Tables, Wood Laboratory Casework, Teacher’s Demonstration Desks
