PA Boarding School Chooses Longo Labs for Art Room Renovation

Located on an expansive 43 acre parcel in the city of Philadelphia, PA, Girard College is home to children in grades 1-12. Founded in 1848, the school was gifted from the wealth of a French immigrant, Stephen Girard who died in 1831. At the time of his death, Girard was considered the richest man in America.

Girard College is a tuition-free, independent, co-ed boarding school serving families with restricted monetary resources and with households managed by one parent or guardian.

In keeping with Girard’s mission “to prepare students for advanced education and life as informed, ethical and productive citizens through a rigorous educational program that promotes intellectual, social and emotional growth”,  some renovations were needed.

Longo Labs worked directly with the school to provide a Wall Sink Center for the middle school at Girard College. Constructed of durable stainless steel, the Sheldon Wall Sink Center is stain resistant, making it a long lasting investment. This project was just completed in late September, 2016.
