NJ Private School $11.3M Science Lab Renovation | Longo
The Newark Academy, a private institution, located in Livingston, NJ, was established in 1774. It consists of a middle school for grades 6-8 and an upper school for grades 9-12.
The Newark Academy offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma program which is designed to provide students with internationally accepted experience to enter into higher education. This qualification is recognized by a multitude of universities around the globe.
With a focus on preparing students for higher education, major renovations were needed, including new science labs.
The upper school is receiving two new biology labs and prep rooms, as well as two new chemistry labs and prep rooms. Longo Labs worked in conjunction with the Newark Academy on the science lab layouts. This carefully planned renovation included the following laboratory furniture, also provided by Longo Labs:
Sheldon Wood Laboratory Casework, Epoxy Resin Countertops, Laboratory Fume Hoods
